15 Kyrgyzstanis to receive International Olympic Committee scholarship

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) allocated funds for payment of scholarships to 15 athletes of Kyrgyzstan. The National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to it, monthly payments are scheduled from May 1, 2022 until August 31, 2024. Kyrgyzstanis representing Olympic sports will get $500 each.

The National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic also noted that the number of athletes-scholarship holders has almost doubled.

The following athletes will get the IOC scholarship:

  1. Akzhol Mahmudov — Greco-Roman wrestling;
  2. Zholaman Sharshenbekov — Greco-Roman wrestling;
  3. Alibek Osmonov — freestyle wrestling;
  4. Bekbolot Myrzanazar uulu — freestyle wrestling;
  5. Ernazar Akmataliev — freestyle wrestling;
  6. Aisuluu Tynybekova — women’s wrestling;
  7. Meerim Zhumanazarova — women’s wrestling;
  8. Aiperi Medet kyzy — women’s wrestling;
  9. Kalmira Bilimbekova — women’s wrestling;
  10. Vladimir Zoloev — judo;
  11. Nursultan Keneshbekov — athletics;
  12. Gulshanoi Satarova — athletics;
  13. Denis Petrashov — swimming;
  14. Bekdoolot Rasulbekov — weightlifting;
  15. Nuradin Rustambek uulu — boxing.
