Jalal-Abad celebrates 34th anniversary of independence. Photo report

Festive events dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic took place in Jalal-Abad on August 30. President Sadyr Japarov took part in them.

The holiday began with a screening of a documentary film dedicated to the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood. The stage program featured a theatrical performance «Kelechektegi Kyrgyzstan», in which about 600 artists took part. The head of state delivered a congratulatory speech on the eve of Independence Day, noting the significance of the holiday for the country and its citizens. The ceremony ended with a gala concert and the grand opening of a new administrative building in Jalal-Abad.
