Former Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and former head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev returned to Kyrgyzstan early this morning. Journalist Aibek Biybosunov reported on social media.
The former head of the security services reportedly arrived at Manas International Airport today.
Media reports say that Kamchybek Tashiev immediately got into a car and drove away; journalists were unable to ask him questions.
The decision to return was made despite the politician’s ongoing medical treatment, as previously reported by his supporter Nurgazy Anarkulov.
