The State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan explained to 24-kg.com news agency why Bishkek residents could not submit documents for obtaining a passport.
The day before, automated Passport system failed. Another failure was registered this morning. Currently, all the problems have been fixed.
«The failure was caused by a large number of electronic applications. More than 100,000 applications for biometric passports have been received since May 2," SRS explained.
