Participants of torch relay race “Peace Run-2017” arrive in Bishkek

Participants of torch relay race of friendship and mutual understanding «Peace Run-2017» arrived in Bishkek, the mayor’s office reported.

According to it, for the first time it united six oblasts of Kyrgyzstan: Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Talas, Chui and Issyk-Kul. The runners started on August 10 in Batken, ran through Osh, Jalal-Abad, Talas, Bishkek and will finish in Cholpon-Ata on August 25, 2017.

The athletes from the CIS countries — Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus — participate in the race.
